Mark Ward

TOG24 (Mileta Sports) was founded by Mark’s grandfather in 1958. They started in business making sports shoes and football boots, including kangaroo leather ones for Stanley Matthews. They moved into football kit, sports bags and other sporting goods in the 1970s before beginning to concentrate on outdoor clothing under the TOG24 brand in the 80s. TOG24 now sells through its 40 high street and factory outlets and through concessions at Debenhams, House of Fraser, J D Williams and others. Online sales are increasing with an emphasis on non-winter clothing and kit. All items are made overseas.

When Mark joined the company sales were £3m now they are approx £25m; Mark has played a key role in the growth as Product Director until 2018 when he became CEO. There are several members of the family involved in the company including his cousin Chris Ward in the Commercial MD role. TOG24 has exciting plans to grow their business over the next 5 years.
