In 2013 the business completed a lengthy MBO process which saw three longstanding directors take control of the business with Jacqui Hall at its helm as the Managing Director. Bringing together talent and expertise gained over decades of experience, CNG’s refreshing approach has been enthusiastically received by commercial gas customers and turnover has continued to rise rapidly and now stands at over £155 million.
In late 2013 CNG further strengthened its reputation as one of the nation’s fastest growing and most innovative businesses following its inclusion in The Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 and The London Stock Exchange Group’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain. In addition the company jumped from 24th position to 4th in this year’s Yorkshire’s Fastest 50.
