Neil has been in the technology industry for over 25 years and is currently Chief Executive of Concorde Technology Group, a nationwide privately owned group of focused technology businesses who each specialise in providing services such as Cyber Security, Communications as well as On Premise and Cloud Solutions through its inhouse consultancy practices, Neil is also a big advocate of IOT (the Internet of Things) and how using modern technology and methods can really help shape and improve people’s quality of life as well as giving businesses the advantage to outperform their competition.
Neil is technical by trade and has achieved many professional qualifications. His back ground has always been technology since leaving school and taking an apprenticeship in the family business (ICM Computer Group) at 17. This saw Neil grow up in one of Yorkshires most successful technology companies. During his history at ICM Neil was at the forefront of many technology innovations. From the first email system and dial up internet through to ultimately starting and growing the groups Networking and Hosting division to Circa 10m reoccurring revenues.
In 2007 ICM Computer Group was sold to Phoenix IT Services for £118m. Post-sale Neil and a number of colleague’s exited ICM and in 2009 identified several struggling businesses with different focuses. They went on to acquire these businesses which then formed Concorde Technology Group. The acquired businesses needed modernising and revitalising for the current time and Neil and his management team set to work turning this into a nationwide modern and purposeful IT solutions, Services and Support Group.
Neil is a CEO who thrives on good Customer Service and believes that this value always comes first, sometimes before profit. Nothing is too much trouble to make a Customers experience with us a happy one. His experience and exposure working within roles at ICM, also give Neil in depth skills as a Commercial business leader and adviser in Strategy, Risk, People, Communications and Marketing along with his technical skills as a IT Specialist.
