Sarah started her career as a surgeon in the NHS. She subsequently co-owned and managed a health and social care business providing supported living, residential and hospital care services for adults with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour. This business created 11 care homes for adults with learning difficulties and an acute hospital and was sold in 2017 to Cambian PLC. In 2016, Sarah established Full Circle Funerals – a modern funeral services which has grown to have multiple branches across Yorkshire and is also the first UK funeral franchise.
Sarah is an angel investor with North Invest, qualified coach and NLP practitioner and business advisor. She is an active mentor on the Aspire to Lead and Max Accelerator Program.
Full Circle Funerals is the first UK funeral business to achieve B Corp Certification and Full Circle Funerals has won several industry sustainability awards – including being shortlisted in the Lloyds Business Excellence Awards 2022. With a special interest in business for good and impact-led / sustainable business Sarah is well placed to support founders and leaders growing businesses in our modern world.
