Online printing company instantprint is set to expand into a new production facility at its headquarters in Rotherham.
The company, which has been based in Manvers for four years, plans to extend its manufacturing facility into a neighbouring unit, increasing its total footprint by 45 per cent, from 86,900 sq ft to 145,000 sq ft.
The £3.5m renovation on the newly purchased neighbouring facility at Brookfields Park will begin during the next month and will run through to early 2020.
Over the past five years, instantprint has invested more than £20m and has a projected turnover of £42m for 2018. It employs more than 200 people and is on a recruitment drive to fulfil various production roles within the expanded premises.
James Kinsella, co-founder of instantprint, said: “We’re pleased to have secured a neighbouring facility so we can continue to thrive in Rotherham with our dedicated, passionate workforce.
“Our investment provides opportunities for both instantprint and for people in the region wanting to work for an exciting and growing business. As a result, we’re able to create a significant amount of job opportunities in the local area.”
