Global language service provider and company of Connect Yorkshire EIR Larry Gould, thebigword, is delighted to announce the launch of two brand new innovative mobile apps – WordSynk and WordSynk Interpreter, live and available from 4th February 2019.
The two state-of-the-art apps have been designed and created by Gould Tech Solutions, part of thebigword Group, to support the company’s clients and large network of professional interpreters in accessing and delivering interpreting services from any location around the world.
The WordSynk client application is a unique, powerful telephone interpreting application available 24/7/365, allowing clients to connect to a specialist interpreter in over 250 supported languages in under 30 seconds. The WordSynk app removes the time delay of searching for phone numbers and language access codes and enables the user to select the language using the language identifier screen and immediately dial.
The app allows instant access to on-demand interpreting services. This is especially critical to key community and emergency services, such as the police and the NHS, who save lives and work in challenging conditions where immediate access to a linguist may be required.
The second application, WordSynk Interpreter, is a fully integrated mobile office that allows linguists to manage their diaries efficiently, accept and attend more interpreting engagements, and reconcile timesheets electronically in real-time whilst on the move on IOS and Android mobile devices. This intuitive app includes greater booking information to help linguists manage their schedule and has integrated map functionality to ensure timely arrival.
