In 2010 Chris and colleagues disposed of Aspire Technology to a US company and shortly thereafter Chris bought a derelict farm complex on a hillside near Hebden Bridge. Craggs Country Business Park now is home to 17 businesses including 3 owned by Chris and his wife.
Craggs Environmental Services Ltd which manages fuel for large companies; for example diesel oil tanks get sludge in the bottom which needs to be cleared out and increasingly tanks need decommissioning as the use of electricity increases. Tank Topper sells fuel online with supplies coming from the 6 refineries in the UK; Tank Topper supplies nationwide. Craggs Energy Ltd is a traditional supplier of oil for the commercial and domestic market and will sell 80m litres in 2019. The group’s annual sales in 2020 was £85m.
