Tim Whitworth – Managing Partner TIM Group Holdings

Tim has worked within and led all major disciplines within business. Having initially grown a small Yorkshire business to a multi-million pound national operation he has in-depth first hand experience of varying scale, operations and teams.

He led the MBO of a small chain of loss making clothing stores in 2002. As CEO he created a highly successful multi-channel retail business. He drove the business through turnaround and explosive growth … sales grew from £10m to £250m and earnings ratios the envy of the entire sector. He also steered the business through three successive, successful, private equity investment stages, culminating in a deal worth in excess of £300m with one of the largest US PE houses in 2010.

Tim brings a wealth of transformational, operational and management expertise to his focused investment company, TIM Group Holdings, through which he and his team partner with exciting growth potential businesses across multiple sectors. He also invests and sits on the Advisory Board of Yorkshires most successful transformational private equity investor, with the aim: to make business better for everybody.
