I started my career at BT in 1997, working initially within BT Cellnet before moving into BT Global Services across the UK and the Netherlands. Those early years gave me a strong grounding in mobile, enterprise technology, and the realities of delivering at scale, experience that has shaped much of what I’ve done since.
Driven by a desire to work at the forefront of innovation, I moved into the startup and scaleup world with Vidyo, a US-based programmable video platform that was arguably ahead of its time. Vidyo powered early versions of Google Hangouts, as well as telehealth platforms and video banking solutions for organisations like HSBC and Barclays. However, as the market evolved, simpler and more intuitive platforms such as Zoom and BlueJeans gained traction, and Vidyo was ultimately sold just before the global shift to remote working accelerated.
In 2018, I joined Nexmo, a London-based scaleup operating at the intersection of communications and software. Nexmo enabled developers to embed messaging, voice, and video into customer engagement platforms, effectively becoming part of the infrastructure behind modern digital experiences. During my time there, the business scaled from around $60M in revenue to approximately $1.5Bn through a combination of organic growth and acquisitions, leading to its sale to Vonage and, ultimately, a $6.2Bn acquisition by Ericsson.
Across both Vidyo and Nexmo (later part of Vonage), I held leadership roles spanning the full go-to-market spectrum; sales, partnerships, revenue operations, and product alignment. Culminating in my role as Senior Vice President, reporting directly to the Group CRO/COO.
Today, I split my time across several roles at the heart of the current AI wave. I am COO of Automated Analytics, a private equity-backed AI and analytics company based in Doncaster, recognised as 37th fastest growing company in Europe in the FT1000 index in 2026 . The business focuses on helping organisations maximise the return on their marketing investments by combining AI with advanced attribution, analysing everything from digital ad spend through to offline conversion and CRM systems for revenue data.
Alongside this, I serve on the Advisory Board of Glyphic.ai, a B2B sales technology company founded in 2023 by a couple of Google DeepMind alumni. Operating at the cutting edge of AI-driven sales innovation, Glyphic has experienced rapid growth and is already valued at approximately $75M. And lastly as a fractional CRO to a legal tech start up based in Leeds.
Throughout my career, I’ve been drawn to businesses at inflection points; where technology, go-to-market strategy, and execution come together to drive meaningful growth. That continues to be the thread that connects my work today.
